Surprise Metal

Ok so basically the best week ever. So Monday I caught a lame ass cold. Which I noticed was serious at about 8:15pm. I then noticed we had no tissues in the house. This made me rage. However it was cancelled out by your mum. I mean drinking to Indiana Jones with Nayeem and Ben and Rhys and not your mum. Tuesday was also pretty awesome. Except for the sickness. That was lame. And having to cancel on Renee's little card session because of said cold. :( Wednesday involved my very drunk brother and his very drunk work friends deciding to have a party and not tell me. I made them nachos because I probably owed Eddie for something or another. Then Eddie got drunk and sad over something so I wrote him a creative letter with smiley faces and bright textas. He ended up on the floor of our toilet. lololol. Thursday night is a semi blur but I remember Ben nearly running into a massive metal sign at a driving range and falling down an incline in the pitch. That was possibly the funniest thing thing ever. Friday night at the Amplifier and Capitol (same building :P) was the launch of some Australian Metal Compilation CD. This was funny because when we walked in and there was thrashing and double bass drums instead of dance/hip hop shit my friends were scared and like "wtf?" (we didn't know exactly what was going on). The "freakish devil music" and bogantastic crowd was basically the opposite to what everyone was expecting. I've decided holding hands and leading 3 girls through a Pathogen mosh pit towards another room with no performers so Lauren can buy a coke is the least metal thing ever. Memorable exchanges from Lauren's 19th: Miriam: Ooh lesbian action on the couch David: That's a guy. Miriam: OMG NO WAY. His hair is so long and well kept. Lauren: One coke please Barman: LOL! David: Scotch and Dry thank! Barmaid: *falls over something* Jacq: David, have you heard of this band called Dragonforce David: I saw them here. I was standing there *points* Jacq: :o bish! Lauren: Oh I like these guys! Who are they? David: Soundcheck. So yeah. There was metal pits until about 12:30 when a DJ came on. Then there was dancing until about 3. We were very exhausted. I think I've slept about 6 hours since wednesday night and consumed more alcohol than any other product (except maybe green apple gum. I like green apple gum). I'm about to going shopping in Freo at 10 with uni friends. If anyone reads this and wants to come feel free. (Disclaimer to Roberto: This includes pickle Renee) It should be fun, if anything you can just watch us be arty and all street performance like. Apparently Roy's birthday is tonight too. I wouldn't mind going for a couple of hours but it's too much hassle travelling. I probably should take one night off anyway... My liver is going to end up inflaming all the way to China. Also. I basically died when I saw this: No Doubt group shot (it's been a while). They were secretly working on some new tracks. (New album confirmed for next year. *dies*) Bye friends!
