The Amazing Race

Ok so this weekend was The Amazing Race Perth organised by my sister's awesome friend Michael (he's like the perfect example of how I want to be like in 5 years in terms of success/hobbies/artistry :P). There were 5 teams: The A Team => My sister and her friend Artemis Interrerbang => My sister's housemate Tom and their friend Jess Krell => Kelly and Ross, everyone's friend/a couple Super G => Rita (everyone's friend) and Naideen (sp?) who I didn't know Jolly Groggers => Two random guys, I think Jess' cousin and his friend. (They had super mario/star wars tatoos. Basically I was filming them doing the activities, so I got pretty involved in almost everything. The activities: Day One: Public Transport/Walking Only Day Get from a place at King's Park near UWA to the park next to Subi Oval and then do some Football style challenges (kicking/marking from far away 6 times in a row or handballing up and down a path) Train to Freo then hire scooter cars and find/take pictues of a few key areas Go to Annalise's House (Michael's friend who lives near the Cappo Strip) and make the most creative lunch possible. [Lunch Break] Get to Wireless Hill Park and find the box with the next instructions at the top of the hill Run down to Garden City and buy a $5 present for a 20 year old slightly alternative musical girl. Race to the "shuttle point" (ie my brother's car) near Canning Bridge. He would then drive the teams to a MASSIVE playground where there was a hidden envelope. After they found it they had to re-hide it somewhere else for the next teams Go to South Perth Foreshore and find a clue that told them to take the Ferry across to the Belltower Solve a riddle based on the Belltower Area to find out what to do next Sing a couple of Kareoke Songs and get an "Applause" Go to a party at the UWA Tav where the girl who's birthday it was would rank how good the gifts were and give people time bonuses. [End of Day 1] Day 2: Driving/Walking Only Day Drive to Bullsbrook (near Pierce Airbase) where there are giant mazes and do a bunch of tasks involving them Rockclimbing in Northbridge Another shopping thingy in Leederville Walking back and forth all over King's Park following clues and finding places.
