Goodbye metal cred (well what small amount I had anyway)

'msry.

Although this is based on how much I was blown away you obviously can't compare the actual skills because they're completely different genres. Also I'm going to say it was more fun because it was more recent. It was probably just as fun as Trivium.

Little Birdy > Lamb of God
Little Birdy > Slayer
Little Birdy > Trivium
Don't (one song) > Dragonforce

I'm seriously serious.

I had so. much. fucking. fun.

I think I love them so much because they actually rock properly. Not like the No Doubt style pop-rock that everyone just assumes a female fronted band will play. Also they don't act completely full of themselves and Katy says the funniest shit inbetween/during songs. (Like when she stopped halfway through one at the Balmoral a while ago to tell some drunk bitch to stfu)

I'm trying to remember what they played. It will just be a list, not in any order or even which concert. A * means it's an oldschool one and ** means it's a mega oldschool one. I think I forgot a couple of songs.

Relapse** x2 (dies x2)
This is a Love Song**
It's All My Fault*
Bad For You**
Come On Little Heart Breaker*
Beautiful to Me* x2
Andy Warhol** x2 (fucking best. fucking song. x2)
After Dark x2
Bodies x2
Come On Come On x2
Music x2
Set You Alight x2
Somebody New x2
Don't x2 (omag x2)
Six Months in a Leaky Boat
Tonights the Night x2
Hollywood

Most of these pics are stolen from my friend Lou and her amazing photography skills/camera:

Incorrect.
You prefer Little Birdy to these bands, but Little Birdy wasn't, is not and never will be greater than Metal.

But good to hear you had fun :) I can see why you'd enjoy LB more; most of the metal gigs you've been to with me you didn't really know the bands' music well, and because of that I can totally understand you not really enjoying them much as a result of this.

Yeah I definately get that. Which is why Gigantour should be the best thing to ever happen.

I think also in the songwriting aspect I would rate Katy's skills pretty high up, not quite Dream Theatre level but damn close.

=D

Thankyou for your understanding Sir. I'm sure we can still be friends even after this blog and its abomination against your beliefs. =P
